Drake graduated from Turner High School in the upper percentage of the class. Drake attended University of Kansas and got his Bachelors in Arts before going into telecommunications and athletic administrations. Drake was contacted many years later by ZCW about a possible position within the company. Drake, never really paying attention to professional wrestling, decided to give himself a challenge.
